Zoho Calendar holds your work. Google Calendar or Outlook holds everything else. Neither one can see the other, so a meeting in one leaves the same hour free in the other.
Zoho publishes CalDAV settings, and Keeper.sh connects to any CalDAV server. That is the whole route, and there is no Zoho button because none is needed.
What does this actually do?
Events on your Zoho calendar are copied onto a Google or Outlook calendar as busy blocks. Move one in Zoho and the copy moves. Delete it and the copy goes.
A connection runs one way. For Google or Outlook events to show up in Zoho as well, make a second connection going back.
What do you need first?
- A Zoho account, and the email address you sign in with
- An app-specific password if two-factor authentication is on
- A Google, Outlook or Microsoft 365 account
- An account on keeper.sh
How do you connect Zoho?
Open Import Calendars and choose Connect CalDAV Server. Three fields:
- CalDAV Server URL —
https://calendar.zoho.com. Zoho notes the domain varies by data centre, so an EU account usescalendar.zoho.eu. - CalDAV Server Username — your Zoho email address. Zoho's guide says to use the email, not your Zoho username.
- CalDAV Server Password — your Zoho password, or an app-specific password.
With two-factor on, Zoho requires the app-specific password. Make one at accounts.zoho.com under Security, then App Passwords, then Generate New Password. Use one anyway, because you can revoke it without changing your real password.
Which Zoho calendars show up?
Zoho states that only the primary calendar under My Calendars is enabled for CalDAV by default. If a calendar you expected is missing in Keeper.sh, enable it for CalDAV sync in Zoho first.
Zoho also says app and subscribed calendars come through read-only, and that syncing shared, subscribed and group calendars needs a paid Zoho account. Read-only is fine for sending events out, which is all this setup does.
How do you connect Google or Outlook?
Connect Google Calendar and Connect Outlook open each provider's own permission screen, and Keeper.sh never sees your password. Connect Microsoft 365 is for work and school accounts, where an administrator may need to approve the app first.
Which calendar sends to which?
Open the Zoho calendar and tick the Google or Outlook calendar under Send Events to Calendars. That one connection copies Zoho into it.
To mirror the other way, open the Google or Outlook calendar and tick the Zoho calendar. Writing into Zoho needs a Zoho calendar Keeper.sh can write to, and Zoho says personal, group and shared calendars support two-way CalDAV sync.
What do the copies show?
By default each copy is titled after the calendar it came from, with no description or location, and guests are never copied. A Zoho meeting appears in Google as a block named after your Zoho calendar. What a copied event shows covers turning detail back on, which is a Pro setting.
How quickly do changes arrive?
Keeper.sh reads CalDAV calendars on a timer on every plan, since a CalDAV server has no standard way to push a change. Writing to Google or Outlook is within 30 minutes on Free, and within seconds on Pro. See plans and limits.
Why isn't it working?
Connecting fails. The usual cause is the wrong username or password type. Use the email address, and an app-specific password if two-factor is on.
The data centre is wrong. A .eu, .in or other regional Zoho account needs its own domain in the server URL.
A calendar is missing. Zoho only enables the primary calendar for CalDAV by default.
Changes in Google never reach Zoho. One connection, one direction. Add a second going back.
What does the free plan cover?
Two linked accounts and three connections. Zoho and Google are two accounts, which is the whole account allowance. Two connections cover both directions, with one spare.
